Ms. Willberg has over 25 years of experience providing transaction advisory, corporate finance and audit services to multinational corporations. Working primarily in the Nordic market (with significant focus in Sweden), she has counseled companies on a diverse set of corporate growth strategies including public market offerings, divestitures and acquisitions as well as corporate governance and value creation.
Prior to joining A&M, she worked at KPMG for over two decades moving her way up to Senior Partner and CEO of KPMG Sweden. During that time, she served on KPMG’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA) Board as well as the firm’s Global Board. She has also held positions in audit, corporate finance, transaction services, business forensics and recovery transaction services.
While at KPMG, Ms. Willberg started Transaction Services initiatives in Sweden and/or led the operations of the Financial Advisory Services group from 1999 until 2008. Most recently, Ms. Willberg served as a Partner in charge of all audit activity for large and publicly listed companies including PostNord AB, HöganäsAB, Thule AB, EQT and LänsförsäkringarAB. She has also offered various audit and advisory services to publicly listed companies such as Investor AB, FastighetsAB Balder, Ortivus AB, CisionAB, NobiaAB, CloettaA, Alfa Laval AB and AB Traction. Ms. Willberg also worked for Nasdaq doing audits for 10 years; more than five of which were spent as the Stock Exchange auditor in charge.
Ms. Willberg’s expertise spans many industries including business to consumer (B2C), retail, real estate, private equity, industrials, manufacturing, transportation and financial services.
Ms. Willberg earned a master’s degree from Stockholm School of Economics and has a background as Authorized Public Accountant. She participated in management trainings programs in INSEAD 2004-2005.
